Msme Registration In India

MSME stands for Micro, small & medium enterprises. As per the government, it is recommendatory to get registered under MSME, as it can provide you various benefits in the form of business set up, taxation, credit facilities, loans etc. Any enterprise involved in manufacturing or service sector can obtain registration under the MSME act. The Micro, Small and medium enterprise are defined below:

  • Micro Enterprise: Enterprises having investment less than Rs. 1 crore and turnover less than Rs. 5 crores are considered as Micro Enterprises.
  • Small Enterprise: Enterprises having investments less than Rs 10 crore and turnover up to Rs. 50 crores.
  • Medium Enterprise: Enterprises having investments less than Rs 50 crores and turnover up to Rs.250 crores.

Registering your enterprise as an MSME is not at all a complex process. Though it is not mandatory to get registered but it is highly recommendable to be an MSME as there are lots of benefits. Documents Required

    • Passport size photograph of owners/partners/directors.
    • Business PAN card
    • Business Establishment Certificate
    • KYC documents of owners/partners/directors (PAN,Voter ID, Aadhar card, Driving License)
    • Income Tax Return and GST Returns
    • Office address proof (Rent Agreement/Ownership Deed)
    • NOC from landlord (if rented, draft will be provided)
